Non mais ça aurait pu... Il a chuté sur la 2ème étape du Ster ZLM.

Au moins il ne fera plus d'ombre à Bob Jungels.

3 mois d'arrêt pour Lecuisinier

Il y a encore eu un accrochage avec une moto hier sur le Tour de Savoie. Nuno Bico de la formation Klein Constantia est concerné. Rien de grave a priori, des hématomes.

Les nouvelles de Gesink ne sont pas très bonnes une semaine après sa chute en Suisse. Il souffre toujours, après une sortie d'une heure il doit s'arrêter. Du repos à prendre. Sa participation sur le Tour semble de plus en plus incertaine.

Two weeks after the horrific life threatening accident, Keagz is still in intensive care in Rimini, Italy.

Contrary to initial reports, Keagz did not sustain any facial injuries. The critical injuries were sustained to his neck and throat. He severed not only the cartoid artery, but the jugular vein, nerve and muscles.

Due to major loss of blood at the scene as well as the time it took to get him to surgery, the right hand side of his brain was starved of blood and oxygen. He also sustained bruising of his brain due to the impact as well as vocal cord damage. At this stage the full extent of his injuries is unknown as well as the period of rehabilitation.

He is breathing on his own but with difficulty as one of the nerves controlling his diaphragm has been damaged. He has limited movement of his left side due to the lack of oxygen to the brain however this is showing signs of improvement. The right side, which is being affected by nerve damage, is also limited. He is able to move his leg and squeeze his hand, but there is no movement of his arm.

With continued rehabilitation it is hoped that all functionality will improve as time passes. However, any possible long term effects are still unknown

Ca risque d'être très compliqué dans l'avenir pour Keegan Girdlestone. Et je ne parle même pas de remonter sur un vélo :sad:

Fractures de l'os illiaque et de la clavicule pour Küng, il est hélas forfait pour les Jeux :sad:

Si vous ne voyez plus \"La Bête\" Westra performant ces temps-ci, et je sais qu'il a des fans ici bas, il l'explique en gros: il est traumatisé depuis l'accident de Stig Broeckx sur le Tour de Belgique, il n'a plus le coeur ni la tête au vélo, à s'entrainer du côté de Monaco, faire des descentes à tombeau ouvert, etc. Il renonce d'ailleurs au National. Il pourrait bien aller vers une fin de carrière anticipée à ce train là.... :whistle:

Merde, comme je le craignais le gros souci c'est l'anoxie et les dégâts qu'elle aura fait. Il est jeune, en se battant il pourra avoir une vie presque normal j'espère, et c'est finalement ça le principal après avoir frôlé la mort de si près.

Je peux le comprendre, des mecs traumatisés par des grosses gamelles qui ont eu lieu devant eux ça arrive et là ça rend tout plus difficile.

Je peux comprendre également.
