6 ans qu'il courre dans les Caraïbes et qu'il est installé à Saint Martin ! Plutôt avec succès d'ailleurs (un tour de Guadeloupe), enfin quand il est pas exclu de la course pour bagarre !

D'habitude, il courre avec le Velo Club de Grand Case, l'équipe saint-martinoise justement et là il a été engagé par une autre équipe de Guadeloupe "continentale" comme on dit la bas, c'est un transfert définitif ou c'es juste à l'occasion de cette Vuelta ?

Il me semble que c'est une équipe montée pour l'occasion.

Oui très certainement, d'autres équipes étrangères ont aussi été montées pour l'occasion d'ailleurs.
En revanche le club de Boris Carène, le CCD Carène Cycling est bien une équipe élite qui disputera une bonne partie du calendrier Elite des Caraïbes.

Le local Alberto Ramos est parvenu à résister au peloton et signe le plus grand résultat de sa jeune carrière.
Albert Torres était présent dans l'échappée du jour mais est tout de même parvenu à prendre la 3ème place de l'étape.

Etape 7: Moca - Constanza 121km



En fait, Nelson Ismael Sanchez s'était réservé pour envoyer la sauce sur cette étape, et personne n'a été en mesure de rivaliser. Anderson Paredes a bien tenté de suivre un temps, mais a du se résigner à lâcher la roue du leader de la course, pour finalement se faire reprendre. Mais il n'a pas tout perdu, puisqu'en plus de son maillot de meilleur jeune, il grimpe sur le podium provisoire puisque Kevin Sepulveda, l'ancien leader et vainqueur de la première arrivée en altitude a clairement cédé.

La Joe Martin Stage Race est une course cycliste par étapes américaine disputée autour de Fayetteville, dans l'Arkansas. Elle est créée en 1978 sous le nom de Fayetteville Spring Classic. Elle est renommée Joe Martin Stage Race en 1989, en hommage à son directeur de course Joe Martin, mort en 1988. Elle est organisée par un club cycliste local, le Fayetteville Wheelmen / Tyson Racing cycling team, et la société All Sports Productions. La course masculine fait partie de l'USA Cycling National Racing Calendar et de l'UCI America Tour depuis 2015.
