1ère course en ligne européenne ce soir à 17h30


Alors que la HTV Cup a été la première épreuve depuis la coupure forcée liée à la pandémie de Coronavirus, quelques courses se sont depuis déroulées en Europe. Et si la Norvège et l'Estonie ont eu le droit à un chrono, la première course en ligne de l'ère Covid aura lieu ce soir en République Tchèque.

Première manche de Il Sano Cup, le Grand Prize of Cyklomax se déroulera en effet ce soir à partir de 17h30 dans les rues de Pilsen. Au programme, 66 kilomètres et 60 tours de circuit, et un prize money d'environ 200 euros.

Parmi les coureurs qui prendront le départ, on retrouvera notamment le pensionnaire du CC Etupes, Vojtěch Sedláček

Deux courses en Estonie ce week-end. La première est remportée par l'ancien coureur de la formation Saint-Michel Auber 93 Alo Jakin.

Il n'y a pas qu'en France que la compétition a repris ses droits ce week-end puisque se déroulait également dimanche une course compliquée qui partait du niveau de la mer pour arriver à 1952 mètres d'altitude sur l'île de Chypre. Et c'est le russe Ilnur Zakarin qui s'est imposé devant le champion national Andreas Miltiadis.

Reprise de la compétition en Nouvelle-Zélande ce week-end où se déroulait la deuxième manche des Trust House teams series (1ère manche annulée à cause des conditions climatiques).

Un petit point sur le National Tour 2020 qui se déroule cette semaine et se termine dimanche.

Aujourd'hui c'était le chrono par équipes, remporté logiquement par le Team Bridgelane qui possède le meilleur collectif selon moi.

Parmi les vainqueurs d'étapes on notera Jensen Plowright, mais aussi Jay Vine (x2).

Au général (un classement par points), c'est Brendan Johnston qui est leader avec une solide avance, mais je ne connais pas le barème.

Pour ceux qui voudraient le découvrir, il a déjà 29 ans, et s'est imposé en début d'année lors de la classique Melbourne-Warrnambool. En dehors de ça pas grand chose à signaler, si ce n'est qu'il n'a jamais évolué en Conti, et que la dernière fois où il a participé à une épreuve UCI, c'était en 2012

Comme l'a évoqué Wallers sur le topic infirmerie, grosse chute lors de la dernière étape.

Pour rester sur l'Australie, le TDU devient une épreuve par étapes de 4 jours classée NRS.

Willunga Hill au programme également. Reste à savoir si il y aura des pros australiens ou pas.
